“There’s been a noticeable improvement in my dog’s behavior since getting a Sully”
While the Conspiracy Series guitars are installed with pickups wound in Korea to my specs, if you’d like the same pickups that I use in our US Customs, you can upgrade here. All pickups come with Alnico 5 magnets, but if you'd like Alnico 8 magnets or Ceramic magnets, that can be done for an additional $20 (please mention that in the notes) NOTE: Sold only in neck/bridge set, and cost of the installation includes CTS pots, output jack, and Panasonic switches.
Pickup sets are listed by “heat” - the Secret Menu is a hot PAF styled pickup and is our standard install. It’ll handle all the heavy, and it cleans up well (as does the Salty Bastard). The JardinAir is a bit of a flamethrower, so if you’re a volume knob rider, you may want to choose the Salty Bastard or the Secret Menu.
What's a PLEK? In the most basic terms, it's a robot that scans the fretboard under string tension and levels the frets and nuts slots (when applicable) perfectly. Is it absolutely necessary? No, but it's something we do on all of our US Custom builds and it will take a good playing guitar to the next level.
