What Is The Conspiracy Series™ ?
Rock & Roll for all. Sully Guitars proudly produces our high quality production Conspiracy Series™ instruments with our manufacturing partners in South Korea. Launched in 2018 to bring Sully designs and playability to a lower price point with consistent production specs, every Conspiracy Series guitar is built to high quality standards with premium components by our partners in South Korea - then shipped to Sully HQ for inspection and setup by the USA Custom Shop. These aren’t just a way to make Sully instruments accessible to everyone - they allow us to release batches of exciting high quality instruments with focused specifications that show the world what Sully is about.
Here you’ll find a brief overview of each run, regularly updated as new runs happen. You can navigate to model history and specification details for each individual run as well. Part of the Conspiracy Series fun is that they’re made in small batches - so join our mailing list to hear about new runs first! We also collaborate on specs in the Sully Guitars Facebook Group.
Conspiracy Series run 6 - Summer 2023

A small number of extras are still available right now! These guitars arrive in a couple months and just a few are still unspoken for. Check them out!
Run 6 featured the long-awaited Conspiracy Series debut of the ‘71 Trella model. It also included a slick new incarnation of Michael Sweet’s signature Sully - the Supernova with a Hard Driver sustainer. On top of cool new variants of the Concorde and some Fishman Fluence pickups, one lucky customer will also receive a Sully USA Custom Shop version of the guitar they ordered, rather than the Conspiracy Series model!

2021
Run 5 was a fun one with a lot of fan favorites! Some of these specifications may return for future runs. The Elita in Yellow and Magenta Tiger is a definite standout, as well as an expanded Supernova lineup, the first Conspiracy Series Michael Sweet signature, our first Conspiracy Series usage of roasted maple, and a personal favorite Revolution in Lola Red with a Floyd Rose bridge.

Conspiracy Series Run 4
2021
Run 4 was an experimental run in small quantities to try new designs and specifications with our manufacturing partner as well as judge interest in some more niche models. As such, some of these were repeated in Run 5 with small changes. Run 4 was the debut of the Concorde model, and the Elita Baritone helped kickstart a small but dedicated fanbase of Sully baritone fanatics. Should we do more baritone Conspiracy Series guitars in the future?

Conspiracy Series Run 3
2020
Run 3 saw the evolution of many early Conspiracy Series offerings - such as figured tops and Floyd Roses for Starlings, as well as all-new Elita finish options. Also the return of the all-time fan-favorite Ruby Slipper Sparkle Raven model. With the completion of Run 3, a successful foundation had been laid for the Conspiracy Series, and we began to branch out to feature a wider variety of models and specifications so there’s something for everyone.

You’ve definitely seen some of these in the wild! Run 2 was very popular, with a wide range of 624Ts available and some of the coolest Raven finishes ever. Run 2 also marks the official debut of the Elita model. While the Elita is only available in these small limited runs, it’s developed a cult following with its aggressive silhouette, great fret access, and rock & roll specs. When you see an Elita run - don’t miss out!

Where it all began! Run 1 was about offering simple yet elegant models that would appeal to anyone looking for a good deal on a no-nonsense guitar. Solid finishes, Hipshot hardtail bridges, and a special Stevie D Signature ‘71 Starling with a cool hybrid matte/gloss black Chicago Flag graphic. The Stardust has become a staple of the Sully lineup as the bolt on of choice for guitarists looking for something a little different.
